Charlotte Sweater Love

Hey everyone! It has recently been SO cold....and it's Summer? What the heck. 

The cold weather has inspired me to do this post. I LOVE Charlotte Sweaters, they are currently having a sale in Factorie which is most of these sweaters are half price. I currently have three ( giggle! ) and hopefully I will buy myself one or two more as a birthday present to me!

So anyway, I noticed how good these sweaters look with pants!! They can absolutely can go with anything I can imagine besides for skirts. That's a big no no. I love to wear these with my skinny jeans with my converse or flats.

If you guys didn't notice but I made a mini collage on the top of the post of any clothing can go well with this sweater.

These sweaters are not hot. These tops are actually very thin, so you can wear them in summer. I personally kinda hate Summer. I just HATE the hot and sticky feeling!

Pamper Yourself Gorgeous!

Hello all my Gorgeous People! I have decided to do this post because, it's kind of been a hectic week. Getting ready for school, just busy, busy, BUSY!

I know. I'm not the only person out there that has been busy all week. I figured that we need that indulging sometime, so I created this post for everyone that needs to relax a tad. Just little things can make us feel happy, and using what you have to treat yourself is important for all of you to understand. Here are some of my selection of indulging goodies,tips and statements. The "collage" above will show you all the products mentioned:

• Hot Chocolate

Hot chocolate is probably one of the best indulges that you could have. I usually use Cadbury's Cocoa Powder to create my Hot Chocolate! Drink this in the bed reading a nice, calming, interesting book. Hot Chocolate can do wonders!

• LUSH Comforter Bubble Bar ( $11.90 )

 This fruity bubble bar gives the feeling of being hugged by a jolly blackcurrant. When life is getting you down, crumble The Comforter under hot, running water for purple water and creamy bubbles. The warm aroma of cassis absolute is relaxing so relaxing that you’ll go to bed feeling happier and the world will seem brighter the next day. 

• Candles

The light, the warmth and scent of a candle can be instantly relaxing and a total luxury. It completes the whole relaxing night. Especially ones that smell like creme brulee....

• LUSH Dreamtime Luxury Bath Melt ( $9.50 )

The name says it all.Guess when you should drop this luxuriously creamy block into the water? Bedtime! It may look small, but its secret strengths lie in its scent. The Dreamtime causes your worries to fade away with jasmine, lavender calms your head and sandalwood relaxes your limbs, so use it whenever you need good sleep, soft skin and sweet dreams. Love it!

• Tea

Tea can be very indulging and warming. This is especially great combined with the Dreamtime bath melt, drink the tea in the bath! Chamomile Tea is sleep inducing which is the best kind of tea if you just want to have a good night's rest! 

• Cookies! ( Homemade-especially yummy )

Yes, we all know that we can not eat Cookies all the time. But the time for relaxing, that's an exception. Remember, just a bit of sugar won't hurt you. Remember to enjoy every moment you have to spare, cookies can take up some of that time!

 Essentially, bubbles are pure indulgence. Think champagne or party games. They make us laugh and they make us smile. We've all seen the luxurious images of Hollywood stars taking a bubble bath. We've seen Marilyn Monroe, with mountains of frothy foam piled around her, gently caressing her shoulders and her neck. Her eyes are closed and she breathes deeply. She's clearly in an ecstatic state of sensual bliss.

 The more stylish way to exit from a bath is to get out before pulling the plug. You should stand still momentarily, posing as if you were a Grecian statue. Rest your weight on one leg, turn your head slowly to one side, and place your hands on your hips. Hold your tummy in and breathe deeply. Feel beautiful, and enjoy the moment.

Reach out slowly for that towelling robe, and step gracefully ashore. Dry yourself tenderly and carefully, being kind and gentle. Pamper yourself. Prepare a milky hot chocolate drink, and switch off all but the bedside light. Slip gently into bed and enjoy the fresh sheets, the soft pillows and the warm duvet. Do not watch TV and do not think about tomorrow. As you slowly drift off to sleep, you will realize that it feels good to be alive, and that life really doesn't come much better than this. You will feel warm, calm and very relaxed

Courtney Types: Blogging,Decor,Baking and a Hi!

Yeah Gorgeous People...A new post series! Yes, it's Courtney Types. The Courtney Types series is based on my life, things I have been too,things I LOVE. Just really anything not related to anything at all :D

Yes you guys...I have been loving posting on my blog. I just love it how I can pour anything that I love and know onto one single place for others to read! I am currently getting a desk and stationary shopping for it....a great place in my room for more blog posts! Any requests? Comment I would LOVE to know!

I am also currently "doing" my room up. It has the combination of black,white, silver/metallics and any shade of pinks. I have been loving my room! Yesterday my friend actually got me two really cute antique/french picture frames and I put it on the wall above my head! ( Excitement! )

I love baking! I had to admit it. It has been cloudy,gusty and rainy these past few days! The picture above has me really tempting chocolate chip cookies! I made a lemon cake ( which amazingly my dad loved it!!...he was always scared to eat my food ever since I started cooking :\ ) and chocolate chip muffins which is my fave!

And last but not least...I really just wanted to say hi to you all and I know I have not been posting for a while! I'll get back on track as soon as I can!

Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics: Each Peach Massage Bar Review

Hey Gorgeous People!If you haven't noticed the little Truly Gorgeous logo is not at the bottom anymore but across the image faintly. I just wanted to point that out!

I know you guys..I have been mentioning LUSH too many times now. In almost all the posts I have done I have mentioned LUSH in any way, so, I really wanted to do a LUSH Review.

OMG, this massage bar has been ( and still is ) so helpful! My skin is craving this and loves this massage bar. This massage bar smells like Lemon Cake to me with all the lemon,lime and other citrusy product oils, the cocoa and Shea butters, create a one Lemon Cake bar to me!

If you suffer from dry and red skin after scratching too much,the shower or something? This makes the redness go away. I've noticed the changes in my skin condition since I started using this.

For normal to oily skin, you will love this too, don't worry!

Most people think the scent is overpowering, is it just me, I don't think this is too overpowering, it's maybe because I love citrus scents!

Updates-Collections, Hauls and Reviews

Hey everyone! I seriously cannot decide what post to do: Jewelry Collection or Lush Collection. What do you think? I really want to do a Lush collection because I absolutely love it- then I want to do my Jewelry Collection because I absolutely Love it too!
I heard that the LUSH Valentines products have come out! You could probably call me something like the Lush Addict or Lush Junkie, because I am! If I manage to get hold of some of the Valentines day Products, I'll be sure that I'll do a Haul! Did you know that the products from LUSH are the only cleaning products I can use? I suffer from, well it's not severe and its not mild, eczema. Anything else makes my skin goes....bazoonkaz?
Reviews, Reviews and Reviews. I'm not entirely sure what to review on but don't worry I'm sure some will come soon!

Polish The Days!

Hey everyone! Well, it's summer in New Zealand, I bet you all went swimming, go to the beach, hang out with your friends, because I did! Well... Summer can become a bit boring, I mean, you can get hot and hazy, and can be a bit of a pain. I personally LOVE Winter 10x better than Summer for some reason.

We don't want to waste the Summer time right? I mean, it feels like were wasting the sun time. For days you just want to feel lazy and stay inside, pettify your nails. It will remind you of summer just by glancing at your nails! Here are my top 3 picks of OPI's Nicki Minaj's Collection and from the permanent Line ( starting from left to right on he picture above )

"FLY" NICKI MINAJ COLLECTION: This is soo pretty. This reminds me a lot of the deep ocean in Bora Bora. Doesn't this make you feel like you're in paradise.

" DID IT ON 'EM" NICKI MINAJ COLLECTION: To me, this is like a crazy colour, but calming. If you're studying and hard working, once you paint your nails in this colour, take one glance at it, and it will make you remember to take a rest and calm down, if you're busy studying for university or something. It even works if you are angry!

"THE "IT" COLOUR: This reminds me of the hot sun. You may get enough of that, but there are days in Summer when rain pours down. Instantly remember what Summer is by taking a glance at it.

How is the fact that that this will be your new Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle Blog ey? With all new inspiring techniques and one of the most fascinating hauls and reviews....what do you think? I may not show my face...my parents won't allow me because I am too young. But I am a youngster, with an awe inspiring passion for Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle. But...that won't stop you from reading the posts..right? Maybe when I grow up ( a LITTLE bit more till the teens girls! ) maybe they will let me show my face.
